Pictures from today

Got up with the sun around 5:30.

Nothing was open. Not the drive through tree or Confusion Hill.

So I drove through the redwood forest  via the Avenue of the Giants and stopped often.

I decided I liked driving through the mountains more than driving along the coast.

So I drove through the forest but this particular road led back to the coast and the town of Eureka. I may have continued along the coast to Bandon, but I decided to turn back inland and skip the rest of my coastal drive. (That’s why I’m off schedule.)

I ended up in Rice Hill at this nasty Motel 6, but I was able to get everything in my car straightened up and organized.
