In the summer of 2002, I spent two weeks in New England on a self-guided literary tour. I walked from Emerson’s house to Walden Pond, visited a couple of Frost’s homes, went to Salem, Massachusetts, and such. I also went up Mt. Washington, went to Boston, took a steam train somewhere, and did other stuff that I don’t recall off hand.
